Today we continued eating our way through the World Pork Expo - had some delicious ribs and tasty maple bacon cinnamon ice cream as well as a delicious pulled pork BBQ sandwich from our good friend Speed Herrig from Cookies BBQ Sauces and Seasonings. Speed was Mike's first employer way back in the day, but he didn't have any dirt to spill - at least not with Mike standing right there. We also spoke with Dr. Paul Sundberg, the Executive Director of the Swine Health Information Center; a center put together after the devastating outbreak of PEDV in 2013 and 2014 and their goal is mitigate potential disease risks in the future. We'll finish up our conversation with Dr. Sundberg in a special Saturday edition of Ag News Daily on June 10th, so stay tuned!
