Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I talk today about my December break from podcasting. How I had a hard time taking my own advice of taking a break, but that I now feel refreshed and recharged for 2022. I talk about some upcoming guests and then about a new series within the podcast. My friend Tyler Keckley and I are going to be starting a series within the podcast focusing on Ranching Side Hustle. Tyler and I are both passionate about integrating agriculture entrepreneurship into our lives that include off farm jobs. Really looking forward to adding some diversity to the podcast.
Merry Christmas! Today is actually a rebroadcast of one of my favorite episodes of the podcast. My wife, Keri Medows, and I decided to record a podcast while we were on vacation this past week. This is something that I have been wanting to do for some time now, but it took us traveling 1300 miles away from home to get enough peace and space to make this happen. Today we talk about our growth as a couple, Keri's transition into farm life, and how we juggle all of the responsibilities in our life. Keri is a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. To find more out about Keri and the services she provides, look her up on Instagram @KeriMedows. https://www.instagram.com/kerimedows/

We also talk about her and Sam's move to rural Pennsylvania and how she is seeing striking similarities between urban and rural living. Find NaliniKIDS at https://nalinikids.org/ and also her Word Workouts website at https://wordworkouts.org/. Today's episode is brought to you by DPH Bio https://douglasplanthealth.com/

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I've talked on my social media recently about the lessons I've learned while deer hunting this year. I summarize those here today. Deer hunting is an incredible opportunity to humble yourself. You are able to learn patience and humility. I talk about my experiences with my sons this year and how I feel like they have made me a better dad and human.
Today we change it up a little. A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of being a guest on the The Rural Housewives "On The Front Porch" podcast sharing my own journey. Mary and Angela were so gracious to share this episode with me so I could share it with you all as well. It is an incredible opportunity for me to share my perspective and for you all to hear me as a guest on a podcast. Thanks to Mary and Angela for having me on their podcast. Reshaping how we view anxiety. Often times, we look at anxiety as something that is bad and needs to be exterminated. However, anxiety is a sign of a healthy reaction to a negative stimuli. We need to examine the root cause of that anxiety and work on that.
